My name is Isadore Sharp and this is my story...

 

My dad is an emigrant from Poland to Canada...

 

When I was a little boy, I always dreamed to build my own hotel...

 

But my friends always laughed at me...

 

So I had to try my best to prove they are wrong, and finally got an architecture bachelor degree from Toronto's Ryerson, not Iverson.

 

In the spring of 1961, my first hotel was finally built, despite it's located in a poor downtown Toronto neighborhood known as a red-light district.

 

Forth years later, I had my childhood dream come true. It wasn't about money any more, it was about proving them wrong...

 

Impossible is nothing...
